Wow! Just wow. Blue Moon Villa is arguably one of the most beautiful and private properties on Tortola. The interior is spacious, clean, and well appointed; however, you’ll want to spend all your time outside! The pool, deck, grilling area, and “cave” are simply heaven on earth. Pictures of the view just don’t do it justice. The main event is the expansive view of Jost Van Dyke, but there is also a great view of St John from the back. Watching the sunset over JVD while relaxing in a private pool with a glass of wine is an experience to remember! You’ll sleep like a baby after a long day in the sun because the beds are so comfortable. So many Airbnbs skimp on good mattresses, but not at Blue Moon Villa! Ryan and Susanna are gracious hosts who communicate well and provide great local recommendations. You’ll definitely want to rent a car in order to experience all the islands have to offer. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend booking this villa! We can’t wait for a return trip!

We arrived to Tortola after visiting Virgin Gorda. Ryan and Sue made sure to know when we would be arriving and let us check in a bit early. The house is easy to find and absolutely beautiful. They made sure to leave the book of information on any and everything we might need. We were able to wash even though the power went out. The house is beautiful, the view is magnificent and all of the little things make it so comfortable. This house is super convenient on the West side of the island. Rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Gold stars ⭐⭐⭐ for this rental!

This home is truly a gem of Tortola. The views are incredible (they are even more expansive and stunning than the photos if you can believe that), the home is immaculate, and Ryan and Susanna are literally the most gracious and accommodating hosts we have ever encountered on AirBnB. They went above and beyond to provide a truly memorable experience. They provided us with recommendations on so many things that helped us: which local supermarkets to use (along with hours and directions), which car rental agency to use (I would highly suggest you take their advice if renting a vehicle on Tortola), and many activities on different BVI islands and even how to get to each island! That’s just the tip of the iceberg with them though. It’s apparent that this home is a labor of love for them and they love sharing it with others. We are so thankful they opened this home to us and made our trip to the BVI so wonderful.

This place is amazing!! The pictures don't do it justice, the views are to die for and such amazing sunsets. The house absolutely has everything you need and it's been well thought and decorated. It is in a great location, quiet, easy access to restaurants, West End marina for ferry access, the north shore beaches, grocery stores. Ryan and Susanna are incredibly responsive, were very helpful with recommendations for water taxi, car rental, and everything else. The only negative thing was that we had to leave. I would recommend this house to anyone, without hesitation, you will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a spectacular mountaintop home with views of the beach, the crystal blue water and offshore islands, this is your spot.
Ryan and Susanna were perfect hosts. The home was very well furnished. We especially appreciated all the games, the beach chairs and toys, and the amazing pool.
The drive down to the beaches was quick. 5 minutes. But beware it is challenging driving on this island - it can be very fun but you should be a confident driver.
A couple of our favorites. The beach at Smugglers Cove. And D’Coal Pot for dinner. Ask to sit on the railing right on the water. If you want to charter a boat for a day, plan and reserve well ahead of time. We did ferry trips to Virgin Gorda, JVD and Norman I, which were fun, but next trip we will arrange for a charter trip out.

Ryan was extremely responsive and a great host. The house was perfect for our family - the right space, privacy and everything needed to keep kids and adults entertained. The space was thoughtfully supplied and curated with everything we needed for cooking and relaxing at “home” and enjoying the incredible views and the pool, grill, bar area, etc.
We loved this house and would happily stay again and would recommend to friends and family.

Wow. This villa is such a find: the location, facilities, views, everything. It was perfect for three couples, we alternated enjoying our time at the pool by the unbelievable view and around the island. Everything is up to par, it’s not brand new but that’s what gives it character. We cooked multiple times, kitchen had everything we needed. Really felt like a home from the start, and Ryan and Susanne were extremely thoughtful and considerate hosts.
You’ll need a car and a bit of nerves driving up the steep hill, but once you do, wow—just wow.

Ryan and Susanna’s place was stunning. They were exceptional hosts that went out of their way to put up a Christmas tree for the 5 year old we were traveling with. The location was beautiful with 360 views of the water. The layout was perfect for 2 couples traveling since the rooms were separated with the common area in between. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you could think of. I would highly recommend staying here.

I LOVED my stay at Blue Moon Villa! I have traveled extensively but was still a bit hesitant about booking a private residence over a hotel for my 5-day trip to the BVI’s. I was traveling alone, arriving after dark, and driving a rental car (on the left-hand side of the road) to reach the villa. My concerns were washed away as soon as the hosts, Susanna and Ryan, reached out to me. They assisted me with my questions and placed me in contact with a car rental agency that met me at my ferry. They went the extra mile to make sure my travel plans and entry into the villa went seamlessly. They were pleasant and easy to interact with. You can tell that they love their island and want the best for their visitors.
Now to the stunning Blue Moon Villa. This home, with its spectacular views, the ensuite master attached to the main house and pool with adjacent bar made entertaining easy. I highly recommend this home and the hosts! My only wish - I stayed longer.
